The message reads; “I received the news of the demise of our father, the Asigangan of Igangan land with rude shock. He was a courageous man. He made impact in Igangan land during his reign despite the activities of the men of underworld. We will continue to miss his wisdom and words of encouragement.
“It is regrettable that, despite attack on the palace of the late monarch, the government of the day has not visited the town nor the palace to commiserate with the late monarch let alone rebuild his palace. This is the time the Ibarapa people need the presence of the state government.
