Akinajo Foundation Partners Nigerian Army, Min. of Health, OY-HMB, Swipha For Free Medical Outreach In Ibadan Northeast

Akinajo foundation in conjunction with headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Odogbo, Ibadan, Oyo State Ministry Of Health, Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Zerald Petroleum Limited, Bloomz Integrated Services and Swipha Pharmaceutical Company is set to organize free medical outreach for residents of Ibadan Northeast Local Government Area of Ibadan in September 24.

A statement released by Miss Favour Taiwo, the coordinator for Akinajo foundation said the Medical Outreach with support of the Nigerian Army, the Oyo state ministry of health, and others aimed at reaching out to the less privileged who could not afford medical bills.

” Our foundation, the headquarters 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Odogbo, Oyo health ministry, Hospital management board, Zerald Petroleum Limited, Oyo Ministry of Health including Swipha, a Pharmaceutical Company have finalized arrangement to hold a free medical outreach for people of Ibadan Northeast local government,

” The gesture is aimed at supporting people of Ibadan Northeast local government with free medical services to improve their health conditions and also would go a long way in strengthening the civil-military relationship

” This is not the first free medical outreach from Akinajo foundation, we have done it in the past, now again, but this time, it will be in conjunction with others.

” The outreach program offered health talks, free malaria tests with drugs, free medical check-ups, free voluntary HIV/AIDS counseling/testing, free laboratory tests, and free drugs. The program is coming up next Saturday, 24th at two selected venues: Ile Akinjide, along Orita Aperin Road, and Olubdan High School, Orita Aperin, Ibadan” She said.

Favor on behalf of Akinajo Foundation expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Army
Oyo State Ministry Of Health, Oyo State Hospital Management Board, and Swipha Pharmaceutical Company for supporting efforts toward the provision of good healthcare services to the people.

Akinajo Foundation thereafter urged the people to take advantage of the outreach to check their health status.
