Mawlud Nabbiy: Oyo Deputy Gov. Olaniyan Felicitates Muslims, Enjoins To Emulate Virtues of Prophet Muhammad
The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr Rauf Olaniyan has felicitated Muslim faithful in the state and Nigeria at large, on commemoration and observance of this year’s Mawlud Nabbiy celebration,
In his Mawlud Nabbiy felicitation message, Oyo Deputy Governor admonished the Muslim Ummah to emulate good examples and virtues of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), especially, his holy teachings that centre on love, peace, unity, generosity and peaceful coexistence among others.
Olaniyan said, “ the holy and glorious birth cum exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAW) remains a great lesson to us all”.
On a memory lane, Olaniyan extolled Prophet as noble one who was born as an orphan, with no father, and his mother also died some months after his birth.
He emphasised that Prophet Muhammad passed through a very difficult stages of life but yet he lived a fulfilled and successful life.
Olaniyan admonished them to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad and they should see reason his birth’s commemoration is important.
Olaniyan urged the Muslim Ummah in the state to use the epochal occasion of Mawlud Nabbiy to pray fervently for unprecedented success of Governor Seyi Makinde led administration.
He equally charged them to pray God to end the various challenges ravaging the length and breadth of the country.
Olaniyan prayed that may the beauty and blessing of this festive period and epochal occasion of noble birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAW) stay with us all, now and forever.
