Sheik Muyideen: Ibadan Lost An Illustrious Son, While Islam Lost An Advocate – Mogaji Olawore
Ambassador Mogaji Abudulsabur Abiola Olawore has described the death of the foremost Islamic cleric, the late Sheik Muyideen Ajani Bello as a rude shock.
Mogaji Olawore condole with Ibadanland, Oyo state, and the Muslim Ummah following the passing of the highly revered Islamic Scholar Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, who died at the age of 84, saying Sheikh Bello was a beacon of moral guidance, an advocate for peace, and a dedicated servant of Allah
He said Sheikh Muyideen lived to serve the Almighty Allah and humanity with his unusual insight into the Holy Quran, Hadith, depth of wisdom, and the gift of interpretation, which provided peace, comfort, and guidance for many.
” I received with a heavy heart the news of the passing of our revered Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, whose life was a true testimony of Allah’s divine blessing for humanity.
” The loss is not only for the family; Ibadanland, Oyo state, and the Islamic community have lost a son and a great preacher. Sheik Muyideen’s preaches,
teaching, and insight touched countless lives across Nigeria and beyond. He was greatly loved by both Muslims and Christians.
” We will greatly miss his inspiring sermons, which were a beacon of moral guidance to both believers and non-believers. He is truly an advocate for peace and a dedicated servant of Allah.
” I extend my profound condolences to his family, Ibadan Indigenes, people of Oyo, the Muslim community, and all those who were impacted by his life and teachings.
” I pray that Almighty Allah grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus and provides his loved ones with the strength to bear this irreparable loss.” Mogaji Olawore prayed.
