Oyo State Mineral Development Agency in collaboration with Mineral Resources and Environmental Management Committee (MIREMCO) embark on verification of consent letters and community development agreement in the state mining sector.
The Director General (DG) of Oyo State Mineral Development Agency Hon. Abiodun Oni made this know while addressing Journalist in the state in his office, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Hon. Abiodun Oni stated that the reason for this exercise is that state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSC feel it is important to stop the stealing and irregularities going on with our collective common wealth by some unscrupulous individual and the state government ready to partner with all stakeholders to instill and sanitize Oyo State mining
