The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has commissioned a newly constructed block of public toilet facility within the Local Government Secretariat, in another significant step towards improving sanitation, hygiene, and the general welfare of staff and visitors.
The newly completed public convenience was constructed under the leadership of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo as part of his administration’s commitment to providing essential infrastructure and creating a more conducive environment for workers and members of the public who visit the Secretariat.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by political functionaries of the Local Government, including Head of Local Administration Alhaji Aminu Sarafadeen, members of staff, the NYSC Local Government Inspector(LGI) and corp members.
Speaking at the occasion, the NYSC Local Government Inspector (LGI) expressed his appreciation to the Chairman for the initiative, while the chairman was handling over the public toilet facility to him, he described the provision of the facility as a welcome development that would particularly benefit NYSC members serving within the Local Government and other users of the Secretariat.
Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-oriented governance and the continuous provision of infrastructure that directly impacts the wellbeing of residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
The newly commissioned facility is expected to immediately serve its intended purpose and further enhance the standard of sanitation within the Local Government Secretariat.
