Market leaders and political stakeholders from different wards across Ibadan North-East Local Government have passed a vote of confidence in the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Akinsola Akintayo, reaffirming their support for his leadership and administration amid recent developments in the local government.

The stakeholders, who came to the local government in large numbers, converged to demonstrate their solidarity with the Chairman and express confidence in his leadership.
Speaking on behalf of the various groups, representatives of the market leaders and political stakeholders said their decision to pass the vote of confidence was based on their assessment of the Chairman’s leadership and their experiences with his administration.
They described Hon. Akintayo as an accessible leader who has remained committed to the affairs and development of the people of Ibadan North-East.

The political stakeholders, drawn from different wards of the local government, expressed concern over the recent developments and called for peace, unity and understanding among all parties.

They urged stakeholders to embrace dialogue and allow every disagreement to be addressed through appropriate channels, stressing that the interest of the people should remain paramount.
The stakeholders therefore formally passed a vote of confidence in Hon. Ibrahim Akinsola Akintayo and his administration, reaffirming their support for his leadership amid the recent developments in the local government.
They also appealed to all political actors and stakeholders to avoid actions or utterances capable of creating unnecessary tension, urging everyone to prioritise peace and the continued development of Ibadan North-East.
Responding to the gathering, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo expressed appreciation to the market leaders and political stakeholders for coming out in large numbers to demonstrate their support and confidence in his administration.
The Chairman said the show of solidarity was encouraging and reaffirmed his commitment to the development and overall wellbeing of the people of Ibadan North-East.
He appealed to all stakeholders to remain calm and peaceful, stressing that dialogue and mutual understanding remain essential whenever disagreements arise.
Hon. Akintayo assured the people that his administration remained focused on its responsibilities and would continue to work in the interest of the local government.
He thanked the various political stakeholders and market leaders for their confidence in his leadership, describing their presence and support as a demonstration of their commitment to the peace and progress of Ibadan North-East.
He expressed optimism that, by the grace of God, the current differences would be resolved peacefully and that the local government would emerge stronger and more united.

*Ibadan North-East Staff and NULGE Rally Support for Chairman Akintayo Amid Recent Developments in the Local Government*
Members of staff of Ibadan North-East Local Government, alongside the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), have expressed solidarity and support for the Executive Chairman of the local government, Hon. Ibrahim Akinsola Akintayo, amid recent developments in the local government.
The show of solidarity took place at the local government as staff members and NULGE executives gathered to demonstrate their support for the Chairman and appeal for peace and unity within the council.
Speaking on behalf of the workers, the NULGE Chairman, Ibadan North-East Local Government, Comrade Raji Afeez Abidemi, described Hon. Akintayo as a kind and staff-friendly leader who has consistently placed the welfare of workers among his priorities.
According to him, the Chairman has always demonstrated willingness to listen to the concerns and challenges of staff members, with a view to making the working environment more conducive and improving the welfare of employees.
Comrade Raji said the workers appreciate the Chairman’s accessibility and concern for their welfare, assuring him that the staff and NULGE leadership would continue to support him during the present situation.
He also appealed for peace and understanding among all parties, praying that the current disagreement would be resolved amicably in the interest of Ibadan North-East Local Government and its people.
The NULGE Chairman urged all concerned to embrace dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving any differences, stressing that peace and stability are essential for the effective administration of the local government.
Responding to the show of solidarity, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo expressed appreciation to the members of staff and NULGE executives for their support, love and concern.
The Chairman described the current situation as largely a result of a lack of proper dialogue and misunderstanding, stressing that disagreements could be resolved when parties involved create room for meaningful deliberations.
He emphasised the importance of dialogue in resolving misunderstandings, noting that proper deliberation and mutual understanding remain crucial to maintaining peace and stability within the local government.
Hon. Akintayo therefore appealed to members of staff and political functionaries in the local government to remain calm and maintain peace and order, assuring them that everything is under control.
He expressed optimism that peace would soon return fully to Ibadan North-East Local Government, by the grace of God.
The Chairman further reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of workers and the development of the local government, urging all stakeholders to prioritise the overall interest of the people above individual differences.
He said the unity, peace and progress of Ibadan North-East should remain the collective responsibility of everyone, irrespective of political or personal differences.
“Let us continue to embrace peace, dialogue and understanding. Everything is under control, and by God’s grace, peace will be restored in Ibadan North-East Local Government,” the Chairman said.
