The Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has denied report that he had travelled to the United States of America.
As reported yesterday by The Cable and spreading on social media that Mr Atiku Abubakar the presidential candidate of the main opposition was said to have recently got the visa and is expected to travel to the United States of America.
In a reaction, Atiku media aide Paul Ibe who addressed the press denied reports he ( Atiku ) had travelled to the US but added the politician had gone on a private visit to the United Kingdom.
Also debunking the story, a family source confirmed that Atiku only traveled to the UK and is also back in the country. The family source said Atiku did not even apply for visa from the U.S. embassy as reported in the week.
