Nearly 24hours to the closure of substitution of governorship names at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, a former secretary to the Oyo state government, Barr. Sarafadeen Alli surprisingly emerged as the governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP). Barr. Alli one of the arrowhead of aggrieved governorship aspirants in ADC found his way out of the unsettle ADC party to rejoin his former boss Senator Ladoja  in ZLP.

Westerndailynews gathered from a reliable source that,  Barr. Alli sealed his governorship ticket at wee hours on Friday to spring a surprise among the political gladiators in the state.

Zenith Labour Party, a new party which served as an alternative political party for chief Ladoja and loyalists submitted Barr. Sharafadeen Alli name as her governorship candidate for INEC last Friday December 1st, the date giving to political parties as last day of opportunity for political parties to substitute their governorship and state house of assembly candidate’s names.

It will be recalled Senator Ladoja and loyalists pulled out of ADC party as a result of Unity Forum selfish interest on party tickets sharing formula for 2019 general election. The fear of uncertainty also prompt chief Ladoja to ordered his loyalists to stepped aside in ADC and join Zenith Labour party.

The political realignment of Chief Ladoja and Barr. Sarafadeen Alli aside ADC few months to 2019 general election has never being foreseen as Barr. Sharafadeen Alli was the only experienced politician who spearhead the rebellious actions of 12 ADC governorship aspirants  against the selection of Senator Femi Lanleyin as ADC governorship candidate.

Other heavy weight politicians that had joined Chief Ladoja in Zenith Labour Party ( ZLP ) includes: Chief Michael koleosho, Senator Ayoade Adeseun, Dr Busari Adebisi and many ADC leaders in Oyo town, Oke-Ogun, Ibarapa and Ogbomoso.

It will be recalled two ADC governorship aspirants Engr Remi Olaniyan and Dr Kola Balogun recently joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Engr Remi Olaniyan got the PDP deputy governorship slot while Dr Kola Balogun settled with Oyo South  senatorial candidates ticket.
