London Derby: Arsenal whitewashed Tottenham by 4-2
Uunbeaten run to 19 following an emphatic 4-2 victory over north London neighbours Tottenham. Six goals were scored in the 90 of the match as the Gunners emerged victorious over Spurs.
Arsenal prove their title credentials with a 4-2 win over Tottenham at the Emirates. Spurs went into the break with a 2-1 lead but the Gunner came back in the second half. As expected, the north London derby produced fireworks as Arsenal were the first to score from the penalty.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from penalty spot to make it 1-0 for Unai emery’s side. Then in the 30th minute Eric Dier responded through a set-piece from Christian Eriksen as the Englishman made an important touch to level the score 1-1 in the 30th minute. Spurs took the lead four minutes later from the spot kick through their danger man Harry Kane. The Referee pointed to the spot after Kolasinac slapped away Davies hands during a tug inside Arsenal’s box. Mauricio Pochettino’s side went into the break with their head high and hoping to break the eight-year jinx at the home of their rivals. The second 45 minutes came alive with attacking flair from both sides as Arsenal fought their way back into the match.

Ramsey turned provider in the 75th minute this time for Alexandre Lacazzette as the Frenchman held off his man in the box before managing to shoot with his left foot to make it 3-2. Two minutes later hardworking Lucas Torreira as he found himself into space and beats Hugo Lloris in goal to make it 4-2. Emery’s men deservedly earned maximum points extending their unbeaten run to 19 games. The Gunners are now fourth on the table with 30 points, level with Tottenham who dropped to fifth.
Arsenal are now fourth on the table as they move closer with leaders Manchester City.
