AVOID POLITICIANS WITH SELFISH MOTIVES, AMOSUN TELLS YOUTH

 Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has implored graduands of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) to engage in meaningful activities and avoid being used for selfish interest by politicians in the coming general elections.

     Speaking at the 10th convocation ceremony of the University, the Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, charged them you to see their success as a challenge to further develop themselves and the society at large.

       Amosun assured that the State government would continue to accord topmost priority to the education sector, calling on wealthy groups and individuals to continue to partner with the State government in its quest towards ensuring that TASUED maintains its position amongst comity of universities in the world.

       ‘’This government has earmarked largest chunk of its annual budget to the education sector and would ensure the sustenance of provision of qualitative education in the State’’, the Governor said.

        In his address, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu reeled out the achievements of the university since his assumption of office early this year to include; academic capacity improvement and restructuring, strategic partnerships with developing partners and Information Technology Innovations amongst others.
