Akala, Makinde, Alli, Lanleyin Set To Agreed On Who Has Highest Fed. Rep. To Produce Governor
All is beginning to set for the much expected alliance of political parties for governorship election combats against the ruling party in Oyo State.
The Oyo State ruling party, All Progressive Congress ( APC ) is enjoying her second term with 32 percent votes secured in 2015. The state politicians and political pundits analysed the emergence of governor Ajimobi in 2015 due to a power tussle that made the last minutes alliance motion by oppositions to failed in 2015. It will be recalled Accord Party, PDP, Labour Party and SDP had 55% of the votes casted in 2015 while remaining minor opposition shared the left 13 percents.
Westerndailynews gathered that, the major point to discuss in the meeting is how the opposition parties will join hands to dislodged APC party in the state. For easy agreement, it is revealed that, all the oppositions are set to agreed on any party that has the highest number of Federal House of Representatives will produce the governor, as such party platform will be use to contest against the ruling party.
