Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, has reacted to technical fault developed by Shooting. Stars team bus while on a trip to Kastina for the Nigeria National League (NFL) match at Kastina United.
Hon. Wasilat stated that the team’s bus was certified roadworthy before leaving Ibadan on Wednesday morning but unfortunately developed a technical fault along the journey, the ministry promptly responded and resolved the issue. The tram bus was repaired and proceeded on the journey.
The commissioner stated that such unforeseen situations can happen, especially when going on a long journey but, it is the duty of the state, through the ministry to make the welfare of the players and the technical crew a priority.
” It was a minor fault, and it has been fixed; all the players and the technical crew are safe and are in high spirits for the game. I have spoken to them, and it is a promise that they will be back home with the maximum three points.’ Hon. Wasilat said
