Oyo Speaker Rekindles War, Sacks Akinajo As Chairman House Committee On Works and Transport
The Oyo State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin has sacked Hon. Olamide Olagoke Akinajo as House Committee Chairman on Works and Transport on Tuesday morning during plenary after forty days break.
Rt. Hon. Debo rekindled the war within the Oyo State House of Assembly as the removed Hon. Akinajo as Chairman House Committee on Works and Transport without the knowledge of the principal officers of the house without recourse to the selection committee according to the House of Assembly ground rules.
Hon. Debo replaced Akinajo with Hon. Kehinde Taofeek Olatunde from Akinyele constituency II.
Hon. Olatunde, known as Deacon is presently House Committee Chairman on Appropriations, he is ordered to replaced Hon. Akinajo with immediate effect.
Hon. Akinajo is a lawmaker representing Ibadan North East state constituency 1. He is also Mogaji Ile Akinajo, a newly Mogaji installed by Olubadan of Ibadanland.
