All Ibadan Southwest Local Government aspirants vying for House of Assembly ticket in Oyo state under the platform of
Peoples Democratic Party House have appealed to the leadership of the party in the local government and state to conduct a free, fair and credible primary that will produce a formidable candidates for the next election
The aspirants in Ibadan Southwest local government area have collectively resolved to go for primaries in chosing candidates in the two constituencies.
A letter jointly signed by all the aspirants was made available to westerndailynews.com on Tuesday in Ibadan.
Letter read : We have all agreed to accept the results of the primaries. The idea of consensus that will produced unpopular candidates with no accomplishment in the Constituencies will be dangerous.
The two constituencies are sensitive and must be handled with care.
