The lawmaker representing Ibadan Southwest, Northwest federal constituency, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide Odidiomo has again set up his constituency Women with Poultry and Fishery businesses.
Odidiomo facilitated the skill acquisition and empowerment of women in the poultry and fishery value chain for his constituents through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA) in collaboration with Two Streams Integrated Services LTD.
According to the lawmaker, he said the initiative was targeted at ensuring that his constituency women were financially independent and self-sufficient to withstand the current economic challenges in the country.
Added that, the initiative is another way of ensuring that the dividends of democracy get to the doorsteps of his people in Ibadan Southwest, Northwest federal constituency, saying It is the top of his priority to keep his people first and ensure that they keep getting access to better and upgraded means of livelihood.
After the train,ing each participant was equipped with starter packs consisting of day-old chicks, feeds, drinkers, feeders, and financial support.
