He said teachers play a critical role in shaping the character, knowledge and future of children, adding that their contributions to the development of Ido Local Government and Oyo State cannot be overemphasised.
The chairman commended teachers in both public and private schools across the 10 wards of Ido Local Government for their dedication and resilience in the face of various challenges confronting the education sector.
“On this special day, on behalf of the government and good people of Ido Local Government, I celebrate all our teachers in public and private schools across our 10 wards.
“Your selfless service, patience and commitment to nurturing our future leaders despite challenges is deeply appreciated,” Adeojo said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting education and improving the welfare of teachers at the grassroots, in alignment with the education transformation agenda of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
