Don’t Try To Perpetrate Evil During This Blackout, Oyo Police Commissioner Warns Criminals
Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Shina Olukolu has warned criminally minded people not to take advantage of the blackout in Oyo state to perpetrate evil.
Mr Olukolu stated this as a fallout of the prevailing blackout occasioned by the inferno that razed Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, Ayede Sub Region, Akinyemi, Ibadan.
The commissioner explained that most nefarious acts were aided by darkness and stressed the determination of the police in ensuring that crimes were prevented.
Mr Olukolu noted that any criminal caught would be made to face wrath of the law.
Mr Olukolu however advised the public to make use of their power generating devices to ensure that their environments were illuminated to discourage crimes related to darkness.
Transmission Company of Nigeria, Ayede sub region, Akinyemi area Ibadan, was yesterday razed by fire affecting Sagamu and Iwo among other places
