The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to individuals, community leaders, political associates, religious groups, friends and well-wishers who identified with the Adeojo family during the 30th remembrance prayer held in honour of their late matriarch, Alhaja Rashidah Bolatito Adeojo.
In a statement issued on behalf of the entire Adeojo family on Wednesday, Hon. Adeojo said the overwhelming support received before, during and after the remembrance programme was deeply appreciated.
According to the statement, the prayers, words of encouragement and numerous acts of kindness shown by sympathisers provided the family with comfort and renewed strength as they commemorated the life and legacy of their beloved mother.
The chairman described the show of love and solidarity as a testament to the enduring relationships the late Alhaja Rashidah Bolatito Adeojo built during her lifetime, noting that the family remains grateful to everyone who took time to honour her memory.
“We sincerely appreciate everyone who stood by us during the 30th remembrance prayer programme. Your prayers, kind words and every act of love brought us immense comfort and strength. We are truly grateful for your presence and support in every way,” the statement read.
Hon. Adeojo also prayed that Almighty Allah would abundantly reward all those who supported the family, grant them peace, and continue to bless and uphold them and their families.
He reaffirmed the family’s profound gratitude to all who attended the remembrance prayer, sent goodwill messages or extended support in various ways, describing their gestures as invaluable and deeply cherished.
