Former governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Mimiko is presently in a closed-door meeting with the Southwest leader of New Nigerian People’s Party, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan at his Basorun residence, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Mimiko arrived at Olopoeyan’s house around 4:35 pm with Otunba Famuyibo and some of his top aides.
Our correspondent is yet to ascertain the reason why the Ondo PDP leader paid such a visit to Olopoeyan, just days before the governorship election as many people were barred from getting close to the room of the meeting but Westerndailynews reliably gathered that Mimiko’s visitation is connected with NNPP and possible alliance with Oyo state governor and PDP.
