100 Days In Office: Ogundiran Rolls Out Achievements, Empowers Empowers Widows
Hon. Jacob Oluwale Ogundiran, the executive chairman of Oorelope local government area in Oke Ogun, Oyo state, has emphasized his administration’s dedication to transparent and accountable leadership as his principles for driving tangible progress across his council area.
Oluwale Ogundiran made the today, 20th of September while marking his 100 days in office as the elected chairman of Oorelope local government area, Ogundiran highlighted significant advancements in infrastructure development, prevention of hazards,
employment, as well as fight against insecurity during his administration’s first year in office
These achievements, according to Ogundiran, underscore the state governor, Seyi Makinde’s administration’s commitment to good governance.
” In the past 100 days, we have been focusing on putting smiles on the faces of our people, this has been our focus and compass to navigate through
thick and thin of the blueprints and road maps before us.
” Some of the milestones achievements within this short time are facilitating and distributing palliative materials and conducting comprehensive CBT training for SUBEB and TESCOM applicants who are from our local government.
“To curb flooding, our administration had dredged some rivers in the local government. The Rivera includes the Obada River, the Kraal area, and the Sanya River, all in Igboho. This is done to allow the free flow of water during the heavy downpour. We also repaired the Box Culvert and controlled erosion at Ayinta River, Oloko Road, Ago Okere.
” Also, we make the protection of lives and property of Oorelope local government residents a priority; we are committed when it comes to the security of our people.
As we celebrate 100 days, with achievements, we also planned to mark it with empowerment. Today not less than 100 people will be empowered in their various small scale businesses.
” Ogundiran, thereafter stated that all his achievements in 100 days in office couldn’t have been possible without the support of the state governor, Sey Makinde.
