A member of All Progressives Congress in Ibadan North local government area of Oyo state, Engr. Khalil Repete rejoices with all Christians on the celebration of this year’s Christmas and wishes them good tidings as they celebrate Christmas.
The 2023 Ibadan North House of Representatives APC aspirant made the statement in a Christmas message made available to the media from his US base through a telephone message
on Christmas Eve. Repete rejoiced with Christians on this year’s celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
He noted that it is very appropriate for believers to reflect on the love of God aptly espoused in the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ.
I use the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ to wish everyone good tidings as we spend time with those we love physically or Virtually. Let us all celebrate the blessings we cherish, embrace the spirit of giving, and look out for one another by offering prayers and exchanging gifts in the spirit of Christmas.
“We must also rededicate ourselves to the ennobling virtues of faith in God, love for one another, honesty, and peaceful coexistence. It is time to make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily lives,” Repete stated.
Repete concluded by wishing all Christians across Ibadan North local government a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, praying that the coming year will bring all joy and peace.
He also prays that this celebration will continue to bring peace which is paramount to the growth and development of the state, which shall be beneficial to us all.
The Ibadan born politician had earlier donated foodstuff to his party members, less privilege in the communities as well as supporting the feeding of the children at the orphanage to celebrate the Christmas and new year festivals
