The people of Lagun community in Lagelu Local gGovernment Area of Oyo state has sent a thank you message to Alhaji Abideen Adetokunbo Alamu Adeaga ( 5As ) for his humanitarian gesture over the steps taken to assist the community to mitigate the outbreak of Cholrea in the community.
In a statement credited to Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru,The caretaker Secretary Lagelu North LCDA, he appreciated Alhaji Abideen Adeaga for his quick response towards the people living in the Lagun community when cholera outbreak was reported.
” On behalf of Lagun community, I am saying a big thank you to
Alhaji Abideen Adetokunbo Alamu Adeaga ( 5As ) for his humanitarian action towards the good living people of Lagun, we all know government alone can’t provide all the needed amenities, also we can’t leave the health caring for government alone, groups, individuals contributions will bring the unthinkable different, 5As has made a remarkable contributions in our community.
” When the issue Cholera was reported in our community, 5As didn’t wait for government, his quick response was highly effective, his materials and physical support during the suspected cholera outbreak that occurred in our community two weeks ago is immense, we appreciate and will never forget his good intention to us “. Hon. Mudashiru stated.
He rehabilitate borehole and donation of generator set,Also pure waters was distributed to our people through him.
He also called on people of Lagun and surrounding communities to take their personal and basic hygiene practices very seriously like the use of safe water and proper sanitation.
“The most effective prevention measures against cholera are basic hygiene practices, including use of clean and safe water and proper sanitation.
