As part of an effort in providing security to life and property for his people, hon. Seyi Adisa, lawmaker representing Afijio state constituency in conjunction with a security outfit has donated security equipment and accessories to some vigilante groups in Awe, Oyo, Oyo state.
Two out of Awe illustrious sons, Hon. Seyi Adisa and Mr. Adesayo Obatola, a security entrepreneur and specialist, and Chairman of Turret Group on Friday at Alaawe palace, in the presence of Alaawe of Awe, His Royal Highness, Oba Cornelius Taiwo presented the security equipment and accessories to the various vigilante groups in Awe.
Hon. Adisa said the gadgets was provided with an aim to ease the crime combat of the local security personnels in the community.
Hon. Seyi Adisa and Mr. Adesayo Obatola in a joint address said, there is need to combat crime with intention to reduce it to lowest level if not totally curbed, so, affirmed that, provision of security tools for vigilantes in Awe is a stitch in time saves nine
Equipment and accessories for the vigilante groups was presented in the presence of His Royal Highness, Oba Cornelius Taiwo, Alaawe of Awe, Chiefs and community stakeholders.
