Oyo State Government, led by Governor Seyi Makinde has been commended for taking pro-active steps to curtail the spread of the ferocious Coronavirus in the State.
The immediate past General Evangelist, CAC Worldwide, and the planter of CAC Agbala Itura, Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, who gave the commendation also admonished Nigerians to move closer to God at this festive period for Him to heal our land and for Nigeria to move forward.
The Cleric stated these while featuring on the BCOS Radio Network Daily Live Programme, ‘Oro To N Lo,’ on Monday, April 13, 2020, and prayed to God for desired peace in Nigeria at this trying period.
While noting that the outbreak of Coronavirus is one of the end-time signs, Prophet Abiara said despite the pandemic, Nigeria’s case is not as worse as it is in other countries; adding that people need to refrain from sins because God still loves Nigeria.
On the effect of the virus on Church activities, Prophet Abiara said since social distancing was recommended to curtail its spread, prayer could be organized within individual homes, as such act biblically showcases true worshippers.
On the significance of Galilee in Christiandom, Prophet Abiara explained that it is a place where Jesus appeared to His disciples after the resurrection to empower them as predicted in the Holy Bible.
The Cleric, who spoke further on several National issues, added that if Nigerians could move closer to God and pray, salvation is sure irrespective of the ravaging Coronavirus.
