Oyo SSG Holds Prayer Session, Charges Staff To Be More Proactive

The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun urged all management staff and department heads of the Governor’s Office to work as a team and support each other in terms of knowledge impartation and efficiency so that their work would be impactful in the year 2022.

She stated this during a prayer session to start the new year, organised by the office of the Secretary to the State Government, in the SSG’s Conference Room, Secretariat, Ibadan.

The Secretary to the State Government enjoined members of staff to think of what they can do to improve their various departments, adding that, the Seyi Makinde led administration would continue to prioritize workers welfare in the State.

She said “I operate an open door policy, my door remains open to everybody, irrespective of the status in the chain of command”.

She then appreciated all the staff for the job well done in the just concluded year 2021, urging them to do more in 2022.   

Also speaking, Director of Training Planning & Research for the Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Engineer, Bamidele Olatubosun commended Governor Seyi Makinde for purchasing additional fire trucks for the Agency, hinting that no lives were lost among the workforce of the Agency in the year 2021.
