Oyo Govt Delights Over Pupils’ Turnout For Junior Secondary School One Exam in Oyo State

The Oyo State Government under new administration has expressed satisfaction about the turnout of 2019/2020 students/pupils for the Screening/Placement exercise into Junior Secondary School One in Oyo State.

The Head of Service of Oyo State, Mrs Ololade Agboola made this known while monitoring the Common Entrance Examination Exercise with management team of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Ibadan Metropolis.

According to Mrs Agboola, “we are here to monitor 2019 common entrance examination and to be sure the materials are enough for all the centers in the State”.

She further stated that, it has been approved by the present administration in the State that no students/pupils should pay for the examination, adding that necessary materials had been made available for the exercise, for it to be hitch free without any report of shortage.

She however advised parents to support the present administration under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde who directed that no parents should pay for tuition fee in public primary and secondary schools in the State.

In a remark, one of the School Principal, Loyola College, Ibadan, Mrs Rebecca Oyebamiji said the punctuality of the students and invigilators shows that they are ready for the exercise.

Oyebamiji hinted that, all pupils that collected the forms and scheduled to seat for the exam in Loyola College, Ibadan sat for the examination.
