Lawmaker Hopeful, Oyewale Preaches Love, Peaceful Co-existence At Xmas, Urges Residents To Get Their PVC
Oluyole local government Social Democratic Party Assembly candidate, Hon. Saheed Oyewale has advised Oyo state residents to embrace the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence that the Christmas season symbolizes.
Oyewale advised in his Christmas message signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan on Saturday 24th.
He urged Oyo state residents to seize the moment to reach out to others who were in distress at this period.
He said despite the security challenges and high cost of food items, state residents must continue to strive for progress.
The aspiring lawmaker said “The season of Christmas exemplifies the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence.
“We must continue to extend our hands of love and benevolence, living as one family irrespective of our religion, ethnicity, or gender.
“We must also continue to respect each other’s right to live freely and peacefully.
“The period of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the symbol of Christianity and the harbinger of peace, love, and good tidings.
“There is no better way to celebrate the season than by showing love and being our brother’s keeper.
“Let us cultivate the habit of giving to those who need our help at this time; it would go a long way to put smiles on their faces,” Oyewale concluded.
The Oluyole-born grassroots politician thereafter urged the good people of Oyo state who registered for Permanent Voter’s Card months ago to visit their local government of registration for collection of their Voter’s Card, implored those who already have to keep it safe, as it is the only tool to install people of good character to the government
