Folarin, Akala, Adelabu, Akinosun, Other APC Chieftains Storm Olopoeyan’s Daughter’s Wedding
Political and business heavyweights within and outside the state turned up in style in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, to be the guests of one of Oyo People’s Democratic Party leaders, Alhaji Abdulrosheed, Adebisi Adeyemi Olopoeyan, on the occasion of his daughter’s wedding on Saturday.
Joined in holy wedlock were Aminat Adeyemi, the daughter of Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan and Hammed, son of Alhaji Hakeem Grillos an influential personality from Lagos.
The guests that attended the wedding ceremony includes: Chief Eddy Oyefeso former PDP southwest chairman, Chief Diran Odeyemi, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic, Rt. Hon. Alhaja Mulikat-Akande, former deputy gov. of Oyo state, Hazeem Gbolarunmi, Engr Femi Babalola, Mogaji Olamide Akinajo, Hon. representing Ibadan North East constituency 1, Hon. Yemi Aderibigbe SSA to govenor Seyi Makinde on Local government and chieftaincy matters, Hon. Abiodun Babalola caretaker chairman, Ibadan East LCDA, Rev Bunmi Jenyo, Nureni Akanbi, Remi Ayodele, Baba Ismail Ahipa, Remi Oseni, Arewa Ronke adedoja, Alhaja Bose Adedibu, Alhaji Bola Akinyele PDP leader in Oluyole local government. Mr. Ibrahim Ajiboye Omo-Iya Eleja, Mr. Amole Temitope Hakeem, Oyo state PDP financial secretary, former fed. rep. Hon. Dada Awoleye and many prominent PDP leaders in Oyo and Southwest.
APC chieftains and leaders present were, Oloye Teslim Folarin, senator representing Oyo central, Chief Adebayo Adelabu Penkelemisi Oyo APC 2019 gubernatorial candidate, Chief Adebayo ALAO Akala represented by his son, Olamiju Akala, Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland Chief Taofeek Adegboyega Adegoke. Bimbo Adekanmbi former commissioner for finance, Chief Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Chief Lowo Obisesan, Engr Remi Oseni, Sen Fola Akinosun and others.
An elated Olopoeyan was full of praises to God that all went well on the day.
“I’m very happy and my heart is full of joy,” he said.
“More importantly, I’m full of joy, and thankful to God Almighty that I’m alive to witness this occasion.
The groom father, Alhaji Grilos similarly grateful to God for the ‘wonderful event.’
He wished the couple “everything that is necessary for a good life . I wish them the blessing of children, both male and female, and every material blessing, as well as spiritual blessing .”
Mogaji Akainjo’s compound, Hon. Olamide Akinajo charged the new couples to preserve the sanctity of the marriage institution by loving each other as Prophet Muhammed preaches. He further admonished them to pattern their marriage after the will of God and not the will of men.
In his remarks, Mr. Ibrahim Adeboye Omo-Iya Eleja advised the couple to always learn from the examples set by their parents in marital life. He charged them to always take their problems to God in prayers.
