Eid l Kabir: Sheriff Adeojo Preaches Love To Less Privileged Beyond Festivities

 

The executive chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has sent a goodwill message to all Muslim faithful in the local government area and Oyo state at large on the celebration of Eid l Kabir.

The chairman said witnessing another ileya call for celebration and thanksgiving for the special grace bestowed on us by the Almighty Allah from last year till now.

“Eid-el-Kabir is a season that calls for sobriety and reminds us of the sacrifices of Ibrahim, our founding father of faith”

He, therefore appealed to members of the public to celebrate the festive season moderately, enjoining them to also reach out to their neighbors and remember the less privileged who can not afford to slaughter ram as a show of love.

Also, the council boss urges all Muslim faithful to adhere to Islam tenets and allow the lessons Sallah taught us to guide them in their daily lives after the Sallah.

The chairman in his Salah message urged clerics to Pray to Allah to deliver Nigeria from all forms of insurgents threatening the corporate coexistence of our dear country particularly in the Northern part of the country.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo equally called on Nigerians on pilgrimage to the holy land to remember their fatherland in their supplication both collectively and individually to make Nigeria a country where peace reigns.
