Elegant Felicitates Muslims on Eid ul Mawlid, Urges Reflection on Prophet Muhammad’s Virtues
The Ido Local Government chairmanship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Hon. Adedamola Olajide, popularly known as “Elegant,” has felicitated Muslims across Ido Local Government on the occasion of this year’s Eid ul Mawlid, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
Olajide, in his goodwill message, congratulated Muslim faithful on the significant occasion and urged them to reflect on the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, particularly his virtues of compassion, humility, tolerance and service to humanity.
He noted that Eid ul Mawlid provides an opportunity for Muslims and Nigerians in general to draw valuable lessons from the Prophet’s life and apply them towards promoting peace, unity and responsible leadership in society.
“Every Eid ul Mawlid gives us reason to pause and draw lessons from a life defined by compassion, humility and service to others,” Olajide said.
He called on residents of Ido Local Government to continue to promote peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and understanding irrespective of religious, ethnic or political differences.
The APM candidate also prayed for continued peace, progress and prosperity in Ido Local Government and Nigeria, urging Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen their commitment to acts of kindness, community service and support for the less privileged.
Olajide wished Muslim faithful across Ido Local Government a peaceful and meaningful Eid ul Mawlid celebration.
