Westerndailynews reporter, Michael Adepoju, resumed with the staff of Oyo State Post Primary Schools’ Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), at room AG 39, Secretariat, Ibadan to get a live situation of the process of the free form distributions to applicants but, the activities that took place at the TESCOM office inside government secretariat when the form collection started was an eyesore.

Only processing point assigned for over 3000 applicants ( Day 1 ) Ibadan centre

Many applicants trooped to the TESCOM Secretariat Tuesday morning, to be the first set of applicants to obtained TESCOM form, many was disappointed, turned back to go and pay the N1000 cost of employment form as those in charge in the distribution of employment forms insisted on presentation of evidence of payment of N1000 before issuance.

After the issue of payment settled, then to obtained the TESCOM free form turned to ” thug of war as prerequisite to enter kingdom of God”

Aside the premises been over crowded, the staff processing the forms for applicants never helped the situation. It was who know who got their forms without wasting much time, many applicants are helpless, standing, sitting and walking aimlessly under the shining sun.

Reactions from Applicants :

” I reached here exactly 8:15 am, it’s 12 noon already, am yet to collect the form, there is over population, they suppose to let us register online ” Bimpe Adetunji from Molete.

Imagine ! I came early, we had wrote our names like 4 times, the staff will just come, gave a flimsy excuse and will ask us to write another new list, in the process, they will ushered in their own applicant for form collection “. Alfa Saheed Adetipe from Alakia.

” if I had know people will be this much, I wouldn’t have come today, even the staff cannot control all of us, now they are tired, they just resolved to be wasting our time,” Samad Agenipa from Oke Adu.

It’s a shame, applicant are experiencing this with the technology age, it over 4 hours now, we are just roaming about, the process of giving free form by hand is a flop ” Adesewa Adedigba from Idi-Ape.
