As part of measures to prevent the spread of Covid 19, Oyo State Ministry of Information in collaboration with Omo Ajorosun Club Ibadan carried sensitization to some markets in the city.

Commissioner for Information, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun said this became necessary in view of rising cases of the virus in the country.

He stressed the need for people to abide by the basic health rules of hand washing, wearing of face mask when sick to prevent transmission to others.

People were also advised to maintain social distance and not wear gloves or masks if they are not sick as this could expose them to germs rather than protect them.
