Congratulations To A Fearless, Quality Leader – Omo Iya Eleja Celebrates Olopoeyan On NUJ Award
The NNPP Federal House of Representatives candidate for Ibadan Northeast, Southeast federal constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Olanrewaju Ajiboye ” Omo Iya Eleja ” has congratulated the Oyo state and Southwest leader of New Nigeria People’s Party, Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Adebisi Olopoeyan on his conferment of Notable Politician Of The Year Award by the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Oyo state chapter.
Alhaji Adebisi Oloppeyan receives the Award from Oyo NUJ today, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Dapo Aderogba, Hall Press Centre Iyaganku Ibadan.
In his congratulatory message to Olopoeyan, Omo Iya Eleja said, recognizing the NNPP leader as the most notable politician in Oyo state is justifiable because Olopeyan has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he is a strategist and master of the game in the state.
The congratulatory message read: ” On behalf of myself and the entire NNPP members in Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency of Oyo state, I heartily felicitate with our great leader, the Southwest leader of our great Party, Alhaji Adebisi Abdul-Rasheed Olopoeyan on his conferment of Notable Politician of the Year award by Nigerian Union of Journalists, Oyo State Chapter.
The award, ” Grassroot Politician of the Year ” given to you, leaves no doubt that presently, you are the best we have in the political field here in Oyo state as far as grassroot politics is concerned, and no one is more deserving.
It will be recalled that Alhaji Adebisi Olopeyan decamped to NNPP in March this year from PDP having been an active member for 22 years. Olopoeyan is said to be building a political dynasty and expanding daily, across Ibadanland, Oyo state, Southwest, and Nigeria at large, and this was attributed to the Oyo PDP’s inability to effectively manage conflicting interests with the Olopeyan who has been consistent with the party since the year 2000.
