Oyo Central senatorial district senator, Teslim Kolawole Folarin has defeated his major opponent Adebayo Adelabu and 4 others to become the flag bearer of Oyo All Progressives Congress in the state.
In a well contested APC governorship primary in Oyo State, the serving senator representing Oyo central defeated the past deputy governor, operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and 2019 Oyo State gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bayo Adelabu.
Folarin scored 950 to defeat Bayo Adelabu who scored 327 votes, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan who scored, 2 votes, and Bar. Akeem Agbaje who scored 15 votes, Engr. Akeem Alao had 6 votes and Akintola SAN scored 0 votes respectively.
