The National Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Yussuf Dantale, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Oyo State political elder statesman, Adebisi Olopoeyan, at his Basorun residence in Ibadan.
Although details of the meeting were not officially disclosed, sources close to the development linked the visit to the reported political realignment involving Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and the APM.
It was gathered that Dantale visited Olopoeyan while heading to the airport for Abuja after reportedly spending several hours overnight at Governor Makinde’s residence in Ibadan.
Political observersbservers believe the meeting may not be unconnected with ongoing consultations surrounding the governor’s alleged plan to align with the APM alongside his loyalists ahead of future political activities in the state.
