Lawmaker representing Ibadan North East constituency I at Oyo state House of Assembly, Mogaji Olamide Akinajo has congratulated Muslim Ummah on this year’s occasion of the Eid-el Kabir celebrations, noted that there is the need for self-sacrifice by all to make Oyo state to be great.
Mogaji Akinajo, who stated this in his home after Eld prayer on Friday said that without self-sacrifice a better oyo state might be long to realized.
In his Sallah message to residents of his constituency and people of Oyo state, Mogaji Ile Akinajo cited Ibrahim, who was ready to sacrifice his son, Ismaeel to fufil a promise made to Almighty Allah.
He added, “On Eid-el-Kabir, we honour Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son. This must teach us that we must all sacrifice for our community, state and nation’s greatness.
” Let us imbibe Ibrahim’s ideals and put Oyo state first in all we do. I salute the Muslim Ummah this Sallah, today is a day of rejoice.
” Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, as you offer your sacrifices, I pray that Allah showers His divine blessings and fulfills all your dreams on Eid-el-Kabir and always.
” Wishing you and your family Eid-el-Kabir Mubarak”.
