Again, Oyo Records 19 New Cases Of Covid-19, 15 From iSON Xperiences

Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde announced 19 new cases of coronavirus in the state.

Out of the 19 announced cases for Wednesday 20, 15 positive test was from the same organization, iSON
Xperiences. The organization has now produced 82 confirmed cases of coronavirus for Oyo state.

Oyo state is presently with 162 confirmed cases, discharged 48 after two patients received their second NEGATIVE test on Wednesday.

According to Seyi Makinde in his
Oyo state Covid-19 Task force update for May 20, 2020, he said ” Two confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to forty-eight.

” Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for nineteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Fifteen are from iSON Xperiences in Ibadan South West Local Government Area (LGA), 2 are from Ido LGA and 1 is from Ibadan South East LGA. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 162.

Governor Makinde urged residents to call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000, 08095863000, 08078288999, 08078288800, if they find travellers from other states arriving their community.
