You Have Been Suspended From Party, Have No Right To Speak, NNPP Southwest Excos Tells Ayoade
The Southwest executives of the New Nigerian People Party, NNPP have cautioned the former chairman of the party in Southwest, Prince Ademola Ayoade.
Southwest NNPP made the statement in a release signed by its acting chairman, Alhaji Musbau Olayiwola in Ibadan. the party reacted to a statement credited to Ayoade about the disowned new party logo by the Southwest leaders.
Ayoade had earlier reacted to the stance of the Southwest leader, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, and publicity secretary, Badmus Kilamuwaiye about the new party logo, he dismissed claims of imposition of a new logo on the party by the National Leader, accusing them of either being ignorance or had a deliberate intent to mislead the public and cause disaffection within the party.
In the party reaction, Alhaji Musibau said, Prince Ayoola has been expelled as the Southwest chairman of NNPP with due process since October 13, 2022. He said the Ayoade explosion came after his Excos from his acclaimed Ward in Ibarapa local government passed a vote of no confidence on him.
According to Alhaji Musibau on behalf of Southwest NNPP, ” It is high time, Prince Ayooade realized he is no more a member of NNPP, everybody knew he has been expelled from the party, in his political Ward, local government and rectified by his state, Oyo.
” At first, the Southwest NNPP decided not to react to his previous activities, but it is high time we put him where he belongs.
” Before he was expelled, Prince Ayoade had never been an active member of NNPP in Oyo state, never did he known in his local government or ward. He got the Southwest chairmanship position on a platter of gold and never participated in Ward or local government Congress.
” For confirmation of our claims, we urged the National Executive Council, National Working Committee, and the leaders of our party, to call Prince Ayoade to a meeting to ask him for evidence of his participation and contribution to NNPP at the Ward, local government and state he is from.
” The Southwest NNPP urged NEC, NWC of the party, including senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to distance themselves from the expelled party member, such as Prince Ayoade, as any of his actions with the party may cause our party unexpected damage in nearest time’. South NNPP stated.
