We Will Make Difference In The Health Sector – Oyo SSG


Oyo State Government through the Secretary to the State Government Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun has reiterated that the Health Sector is one of the Pillars of the Present Administration to reach out to the good people of Oyo State.

Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun made this known during a courtesy visit paid by the Executive members of the Association of Resident Doctors Ladoke Akintola Teaching Hospital Ogbomosho (LAUTECH).

She said the State Government would make a difference in the Health Sector as it is important for all the people of the State to have access to qualitative health care delivery.

The Secretary to the State Government said Health is the bedrock of the four Cardinal Points of the Present Administration others being Education, Security, and Expanded Economy, adding that Health is wealth.

She also stated that the Present Administration would give priority attention to the Health Sector to ensure accelerated development for the good people of Oyo State.

She opined that the State Government is interested in both LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Ogbomosho and the University, noting that Government will systematically and structurally improve provision to services in it’s Healthy Sector.

In his Remarks, the President, Association of Resident Doctors. Doctor. Ayobami Alabi Commended Governor Seyi Makinde for prompt payment of woker’s salaries, urging him to pay a visit to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Ogbomosho for an on the spot assessment tour.
