Sharafadeen Alli, Makinde’s DCoS, Oyekunle, Sunday Igboho, Other Personalities Attend CCC Ileri Oluwa Se Parish Cantata Celebration

 

It was all glamour and joyful atmosphere as the Celestial Church of Christ, Ileri Oluwa Se Parish held her annual Cantata and fundraising ceremony for the church building with the presence of Oyo South Senator, Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Oyo State governor, Hon. Folajinmi Oyekunle and foremost Yoruba Nation leader, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

The event which was held at the church’s auditorium, area headquarters 1, Akinyele diocese, Elewiodo, Ibadan saw many dignitaries in attendance from far and near.

While giving his address, the Parish Shepherd, Sup/Snr/Evang Olawale Oladele thanked the Almighty God for making the day a reality and for sparing the lives of the members of the church to witness another Cantata.

He noted that this year’s Cantata is quite different because it is also aimed at raising funds for the proposed church cathedral. He, therefore urged every member of the church to not relent in praising God and in working for God.

The chairman of the ceremony and the Senator representing Oyo South Senetorial District, Sen. Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli while addressing the congregation appreciated God Almighty for making the day a possibility and because He is the only one who can do all things for humans.

He said though God won’t come down from heaven, He will use a man. However, according to the teachings of the Shepard, nothing that happens in the physical realm has happened in the spiritual realm. He celebrated with the church on the occasion of its Cantata.

Senator Alli who commented on the leadership of the church said he was determined to be in the program because he saw how he was honored by the church when he was approached during the planning of the Cantata, noting that it was like the whole church came to his house and he felt honored and this he deems it good to replicate the honor that was shown to him.

He further stressed that humans are on earth to sojourn and that everybody will go back to God one day to give account. Thus whatever a man does while here according to Sen. Alli will be the basis for the reward a man would receive.

He therefore pledged to donate to the cause of the church cathedral.

While speaking as Special Guest of Honor, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor and former House of Assembly Member, Hon. Fola Oyekunle emphasized the importance of praising God in whatever position a man finds himself.

Hon Folajinmi Oyekunle who is a bonafide member of the Celestial Church of Christ noted that praise many times moves the hand of God and it is not just congregational praises like the Cantata but that members should cultivate the habit of praising God in the comfort of their homes.

Hon Oyekunle, thus pointed out that God is the father of the church and not any man and he therefore urged members not to do the works of God grudgingly but with the willingness of the heart, without being forced or coerced.

He also promised to give robustly to the building of the church’s cathedral.

The Grand Patron of the church, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho though unavoidably absent joined the event and addressed the congregation through a virtual call.

Sunday Igboho who celebrated with the leadership and members of CCC Ileri Oluwa se Parish on the occasion of her Cantata and fundraising for the church building also promised to contribute tangibly to the building of the proposed church’s cathedral.
