Oyo PDP Chieftain, Bibire Distributes Notebooks To Pupils, Students To Foster Continuous Learning

 

A chieftain of People’s Democratic Party in Oyo state, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire has distributed educational materials to primary and secondary schools across Ibadan North local government area of Oyo state.

 

 

The distribution which was witnessed by PDP leaders, educational stakeholders and school teachers was held at the local government secretariat, Agodi gate , Ibadan.

 

According to Bibire, He underscored the importance of education to human and societal development, hence the need of his gesture. He said the exercise was aimed at making learning easy for the pupils and students who cannot afford writing materials, which has made some of them drop out of school.

 

 

Bibire explained that the distribution exercise covered about 73 pupils and over 20 selected secondary schools on Ibadan North local government.

 

” This is one of the ways to give back to society, education is important. The importance of education to societal development cannot be overemphasized. We are doing this today to assist parents, expecially to lift little burden on some who are financially incapable to fulfill their kid, children educational need in this harsh economy.

 

 

” The distribution was made with fairness among Pupils and Students within Ibadan North local government. I believed this would go a long way to relief parents and guardians of some finances as the children resumed to school in this current unfavorable economy.” He said.

 

 

Bibire urged the pupils and students to use the writing materials for the purpose they were meant for.

He said no society will achieve meaningful progress and development without sound education, therefore called on well do to individual, group in the society to show their support to ensure that indigent and out-of-school children are enrolled in school.

 

 

Some of the teachers who spoke with our reporter, Akindele Alabi said, the kind gesture of Bibire will go a long way to assist the pupils and the students learning abilities.
