The New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Oyo state chapter has congratulated the state governor, Seyi Makinde, as he marked his 56th birthday.
NNPP described Governor Makinde as a very humble, versatile, and dynamic politician. The Party said this while congratulating the state governor on his 56th birthday.
This was contained in a statement signed by the state chairman, Hon. Sunday Adeosun on Sunday night in Ibadan.
Oyo NNPP noted that Governor Makinde is an outstanding nationalist and courageous democrat who over the years has justified his good quality of being a leader and administrator of a state.
The party acknowledged Governor Makinde’s roles towards the unity, peaceful co-existence, and development of Oyo state and the nation at large.
” As governor, Seyi Makinde continues to display a remarkable commitment towards the wellbeing of his people as evident in his developmental projects in critical sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and urban and rural development among others.
” His dedication towards the success of reconciliatory efforts and running an open and inclusive government in Oyo state is highly commendable.
While congratulating Governor Makinde on the auspicious occasion, the Oyo NNPP prayed to God to grant him many more years in good health for greater service to the state, fatherland, and humanity at large.
