Oyo Demolishes Yoruba Nation Agitators’ Building

The Oyo State Government has carried out the demolition of a building utilized by Yoruba Nation agitators, notably led by Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, situated in Ibadan, the state’s capital.

According to reports from BCOS, masked individuals who had unlawfully entered the state secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan, last Saturday were apprehended by a joint security team deployed to address the situation.

The demolished building was reportedly situated on Toye Oyesola Street within the Ibadan South West Local Government Area.

When approached for comment, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, CP Fatai Owoseni (retd.), confirmed the demolition but opted not to provide further details. “You can obtain additional information from the Commissioner of Police,” he remarked.

Further updates will follow as the situation unfolds.
