OYO ADC IN DISUNITY, AS AGGRIEVES MEMBERS HEADS TO COURT OVER IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATES
It seems an end is coming so soon for Oyo State Chapter of African Democratic Party ( ADC) as faction loyal to Barister Sarafadeen Abiodun Ali made a bold step on Tuesday by heading to court over the illegal choosing of candidates and imposition of Ex Senator, Bar. Olufemi Solagbade Lanleyin as the party governorship candidate for next year governorship election in the state.
In a press releases signed by 12 governorship aspirants and available to the news media, it was noted that Chief Ladoja has always been trailed by controversial issues. The serious upheaval in the PDP between 2003 to 2007, frustrated him out of the party, he then become the sole leader of Accord Party which he also abandoned. He Made his way back to PDP where frustrated out about two months ago, which led to his joining ADC.
The factional side made it clear to the people of Oyo State that, there is no candidate for House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and Gubernatorial position from ADC except those those offered automatic tickets in Oyo state vide the guidelines.
in view of this, the 12 aspirants urge the teeming supporters and good people of Oyo State that the illegality being spear headed by Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Chief L. A Olakojo, Chief Micheal Koleoso and Busari Adebisi of the Party cannot stand the test of legitimacy or time as they already approached the court of law for redress.
