The governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has announced his Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi and Miss special Assistant on special duties, Lolade Ajibola as chairman and secretary of the transition committee.
The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun made this known during a press briefing today shortly after the 4th state executive council meeting.
Others who made the transition committee list include Dr Wasiu Olatubosun, Abdulmajeed Mogbonjubola, Dayo Ogungbenro, Demola Ojo and others.
Olatubosun explained that the state excos deemed it exigent to compose an Inauguration/Transition committee since the present government will not be handing over to an opposition government.
The current administration will officially come to an end on May 29. Makinde, who was reelected for a second term of office will be inaugurated the same day.
