Omi Adio Ultra Modern Market Ready, Traders Get Two-Week Relocation Notice

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, visited Omi Adio Iso-Agbe Market today to correct misconceptions about application forms for shops in the newly constructed Omi-Tuntun Ultra Modern Market at Omi Adio and to give traders a two-week timeline to relocate to the newly built market.
Hon. Adeojo said the market was purposely built for all market men and women of Omi Adio, stressing equal opportunity for every trader. He clarified that application forms are available for Iso-Agbe traders but are issued to individuals, not groups. Iso-Agbe traders who wish to apply should visit the Estate Office at the Omi-Tuntun Ultra Modern Market Complex to obtain a form and communicate their specific needs so the administration can make appropriate provisions.

“All heads are equal. Forms are still available for Iso-Agbe market men and women. Please note: forms are available for individuals, not groups. Contact the Estate Office at Omi Adio Ultra Modern Market Complex to obtain a form and let the office know your needs and it shall be provided by my administration. Thank you so much for your support so far; I count on your continued support,” the chairman stated. He further urged traders to complete their application process and prepare to move to the new market within two weeks from today to ensure an orderly and timely transition.
Speaking on behalf of the Iso-Agbe market men and women, the Babaloja Iso-Agbe, Alhaji Waidi, thanked the chairman for the clarification and pledged the traders’ full support and cooperation for both the Ido Local Government administration and the Oyo State government.
“You came at the right time to stop all the rumour. We are ready to move to the Ultra Modern Market for our daily business. We are so grateful for this rare privilege. Special thanks to our indefatigable Governor, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, and our father Pa Niyi Akintola SAN. Long live Oyo State, long live Ido Local Government, and long live Omi Adio Market,” Alhaji Waidi said.
