Ogbomoso Reps Aspirant Adelowo Adeoye Decries Rising Insecurity in Orire

An aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency, Hon. Adelowo Adeoye, popularly known as AA Alatunse 1, has condemned the recent kidnappings reported in Yawota/Esinele and Oko-Ile communities in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Adeoye, in a statement made available to journalists, described the incidents as unfortunate and inhumane, noting that the attacks had caused pain and fear among residents of the affected communities and the Ogbomoso zone at large.

The ADC House of Representatives aspirant lamented the growing insecurity in the area, stressing that the perpetrators carried out the acts “without the fear of God and without regard for human life.”
He sympathised with the families affected by the incidents and prayed for divine comfort and strength for those grieving the loss and trauma caused by the kidnappings.
Adeoye also called on the Federal, State and Local Governments to take urgent and decisive steps towards addressing insecurity and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.
“The lives of Ogbomoso citizens matter. The protection of every Nigerian life must be treated as a priority,” he stated.

He further urged security agencies to intensify efforts in restoring peace and ensuring that residents of the affected communities could go about their daily activities without fear.
The politician concluded by praying for lasting peace and security across the state and the country at large.
