Oyo South APC Primary: KKD Races to Early Lead as Results Emerge Across LGAs

Early results filtering in from the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo South Senatorial Primary Election indicate that Kolapo Kola-Daisi (KKD) has taken a strong early lead in several wards across the senatorial district.
Results already emerging from parts of Ibadan North West, Ibadan North East, Ibadan South West, and other local governments within Oyo South show impressive numbers in favour of the aspirant, further strengthening the growing momentum around his candidacy.

In several of the released ward results, KKD recorded commanding victories with wide margins, as party members turned out massively to participate in the direct primary exercise. The atmosphere across many voting centres has been described as peaceful, energetic, and heavily attended by APC faithful and supporters.
The large turnout witnessed across different parts of the district has also attracted media attention, with major national television stations including Arise TV, TVC, and Channels Television covering developments around the exercise and the impressive participation of party members.

Political observers and stakeholders monitoring the process say the early results appear to reflect the strong grassroots acceptance KKD has built across the nine local governments through years of sustained engagement, accessibility, and community-based interventions.
Supporters of the aspirant have expressed optimism that the early lead being recorded across the district would be sustained as more ward results continue to emerge from other parts of Oyo South Senatorial District.
