Ogundoyin Leads Oyo Assembly’s Delegations On Condolence Visit To The Residence Of Late Ayoola


…says former Speaker will be giving a befitting legislative burial

The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, Monday led a delegation of the house on a condolence visit to the family of the late Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon Kehinde Ayoola at their Gbekuba, Apata Ibadan residence.

Hon Ogundoyin said it was still difficult for members of the entire 9th Oyo Assembly to believe that one of their political and legislative mentors who was a former Speaker in the Assembly and a vibrant political actor in the present dispensation in Oyo state had died.

While presenting the condolence of the Assembly to the family members at the residence as the wife and the children of the former Commissioner were said to be having a meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon Ogundoyin described the deceased as a selfless politician who would be missed for his integrity, honesty , dedication and political sagacity.

He urged the family especially the two sons of the late Ayoola not to despair as their father had joined the saint triumphant, assuring them that God’s plans and design for their lives would be fulfilled.

The Oyo Assembly Speaker while signing the condolence register at the residence of the late politician wrote ” We are saddened by your sudden death, and it is really incredible to believe that you are gone.We will certainly remain focused on your ideals of hardwork, honesty, transparency and service to humanity. You have surely left behind enduring legacies. Adieu, a quintessential politician and legislator per excellence. “

He used the medium to inform the family that the 9th Oyo Assembly will participate fully in the funeral for the late former Speaker in order to pay him their last respect and to accord him a befitting legislative honor.

The delegation included the Oyo State deputy Speaker, Hon Muhammed Abiodun Fadeyi and other Principal officers as well as management staff of Oyo Assembly.
